I will add an adendum on my blog because you did point out a couple of things I forgot. Troy's shirt in the last scene didn't bother me, but the manpris were AWFUL.
Also, I everyone could use a pink tulle tail to emphasize their bottom.
I am so sad that we couldn't be there! We watched it as Em puked after the first commercial break and during Troys sad song--I had to agree-not my fav. one. I'm more of a big cast number myself.
I don't make the song and dance decisions. I'm just the costume queen. Last night was the first time I heard the songs (some of the party goers already have the soundtrack), so I will have to wait till I see it 20 more times before I decide which is my favorit

I'm sorry Emma was not there it was too fun. Colleen and Alex were great hosts.
I was getting a "Dirty Dancing" vibe toweards the end:
1) Troy all in black singing his sad song (sorry, Zac, you're not even close to Patrick Swayze)
2) Gabrielle showing up with her sweet "nobody puts Baby in a corner" dress
3) The staff getting to perform at the last minute after hey were told they couldn't
Overall it was a good, wholesome watch. I have put costuming comments on Jennifer Reinsch's blog.
